Introduced in 1952, this variety has endured for its first-rate flavor. Thick, deep-green, savoy-leafed plant grows to a foot in width. Slowest to bolt of a dozen varieties tested. Can be spring or fall sown, but does not overwinter well.
These USDA-certified organic seeds are sold in hermetically sealed envelopes, which provide a two-year shelf life. Environmentally friendly, recyclable packaging and can be resealed to keep leftover seed fresh. |
