Floating row covers protect your garden against severe frost, insects and birds. They retain heat and moisture to provide a longer growing season and healthier, earlier harvests - like a greenhouse. These ultra lightweight float row covers are easy to use and "floats" over your garden plants without any additional support needed. Simply unfold Harvest Guard Floating Row Cover to desired length (cut in sections if necessary), drape loosely over seed bed or plants and secure cover to ground every 6-8 ft. using Garden Staples or Garden Pegs.

For a frost or freeze to 29°F, a single layer is sufficient. A double layer offers protection to temperatures as low as 26°F. Remove second layer as temperatures warm up and remove entirely when temperatures remain consistently in the 70's to 80's or once pollination is required.

If using for bird or insect protection, bury all edges 2-4 inches under the soil on each side of the row and at the end.

Extend the fall growing season for crops vulnerable to early frosts by replacing the floating row cover.
