The GrowUFO® LED grow light uses only 90 watts of power yet exceeds the output of a 400 watt Metal Halide & HPS lamp. Using 90 1-Watt high power LEDs, the GrowUFO® LED grow light is 80% more energy efficient than a Metal Halide or HPS grow light and provides your plants with a perfect blend of light for fast, vigorous growth. You can grow any indoor plant with a GrowUFO®. Use a GrowUFO® LED grow light to grow orchids, roses, peppers, tomatoes, basil, lettuce, herbs, kale, spinach, wheatgrass, broccoli, wildflowers, cucumbers, strawberries and many other flowers, fruits and vegetables. GrowUFOs® are great for growing any houseplant and are excellent choices for nurseries or retail stores needing to provide additional lighting to plants over a large area. GrowUFOs® provides coverage up to 12 sq ft and are suitable for all stages of plant growth. The GrowUFO® lasts 50,000 hours, which equates to approximately 11 years of normal usage. Why LED Grow Lights?LED lights are substantially more energy efficient and instead wasting energy by producing high heat like conventional grow lights, the energy is instead directed to the plant in the form of light. In fact, LED's work so well that NASA uses LED technology to grow plants in space. There are no ballasts or reflectors needed nor does it need any cooling and ventilation equipment as with HPS or Metal Halide lights. It works right out of the box!
